Titanic Survivors: True Stories About Titanic Disaster

Titanic Survivors has become a very hot topic these years, especially with these months. We cared much about Titanic survivors after we watched the movie Titanic. According to someone’s saying, this movie is not exactly the truth, it’s nearly a fiction.  Jack Dawson and Rose DeWitt Bukater, portrayed in the movie by Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, are almost entirely fictional characters (James Cameron modeled the character of Rose after American artist Beatrice Wood, who had no connection to Titanic history). The movie’s love story is also fiction. It was created by Titanic screenwriter and director James Cameron. In addition to Rose and Jack, a handful of other characters associated with them are fictional as well. They include Rose’s fiancé Caledon ‘Cal’ Hockley (Billy Zane), her mother Ruth (Frances Fisher), Cal’s valet Spicer Lovejoy (David Warner), and the third class passengers, who include Jack’s friends Fabrizio (Danny Nucci) and Tommy (Jason Barry). Some of the third class passengers were modeled after real people. But our passion about Titanic is hotter and hotter. Because tons of people lost their lives, this is a deadly disaster!

One of the most frequently asked questions is How many people survived the Titanic. According to investigation, of the 2,227 passengers and crew members who set sail, only 705 Titanic passengers survived, it means 1522 passengers died in this disaster!

Can’t Live Without Literature

Literature is a beautiful thing for me, I can’t imagine what my life would be without literature.

In fact, everyone has his own life, I mean, everyone lives on something, everyone needs something meaningful in his life.

I’m not a slave of money, so money can’t make me happy, and I won’t donate my life to money. There must be something meaningful in my life, I think literature is a meaningful thing for me. Novel, poem, essay are my favorates, they can make my life be more interesting and meaningful.

I know life is not about material, it’s about spirit, so I need to live with spirit things like literature, this is why I like it.

Do We Still Need Assassin?

Today when I finished watching a movie named In Bruges, I got some ideas. This movie is not so exciting, that is, it can’t make your blood boil, you need some patience to watch such movie. But to be honest, you can really learn something from such movie, I can at least.

So what do I learned from it? I realized that maybe we still need assassin in our society. You know, there are some problems that law can solve, I mean, there are some bad guys that doing very evil things but law can’t judge them, under such condition, we need assassins to judge such guys.

One Movie Per Day

You know, I have quitted my job for a long time, now I’m working at home, so I have more free time to kill than before. I have a plan, I will watch a movie per day from now on. Of course it isn’t like what you think, the reason I watch movies is that I want to learn something from them, not just for fun or exciting. Of course I won’t watch those rubbish moviews, I will watch some meaningful ones.

You know, when you watch movie with an learning idea in your mind, you will learn some useful thing from movie. Just think about it, you can experience others’ entire lives in hours from movies, this is really a cool thing.

After finishing watching a movie, I will spend some time to think about it and see what I can learn from it, by doing this, my life will be more meaningful and I can live a higher quality life than before. This is why I like to watch movie.

The only one pity is that it seems there are not many good movies to watch. But never mind, I will watch those classic movies again and again, I believe I can learn something every time I watch them.

Maybe I will consider to write down what I learn from movies I watched and share them with you, just wait for me, Okay?
