It has traditionally been a day for employees to thank their boss for being kind and fair throughout the year. The holiday has been the source of some controversy and criticism in the United States, where it is often mocked as a Hallmark Holiday. Recently, sites like Hallmark have recognized the holiday with a contemporary spin.”
Now you've known what National Boss Day is, so what kind of relationship does it have to you? You know, National Boss Day offers employees an opportunity to recognize those in supervisory positions. Popular ways to say “thanks” include cards, a lunch in the boss's honor, flowers, or gift certificates. So if your boss treated you kindly in the past, you should say “Thanks” to him/her on this special day.
