  • Hello – I recently purchased this computer, but haven’t taken it out of the box yet. I cannot find other reviews on this computer but from my research seems to be a good one. I need it for business and pleasure and I will connect to our work network with it. Do you have any more information on this model that would help me determine if this is a good purchase? I wanted something fast but don’t need all the bells and whistles. Thank-you for your help.

  • I just purchased this computer today and after setup and using it for a few hours, the only complaints I have is that the keyboard doesn’t have a numeric keypad, which makes typing easier for me, also the touchpad lacks the ability to scroll up/down, and finally I don’t too much care for the clickable touchpad, as opposed to the typical two buttons at the buttom of the pad. These are just personalization issues really but otherwise this is seeming to be a great PC so far.

  • I want to use this for video editing, whether it be Adobe Premiere or Cyberlink Powerdirector 8, and I need to know if the graphics card, cpu, ram and all that good stuff, will be able to handle the load. My current laptop, an HP dv9812 laptop, has one of the worst cards available for video editing, now that I have the latest version of PD8. Ugh… Any input out there?

  • I just bought this laptop yesterday and I have to say that I’m not happy with the touch pad! First off as I saw mentioned before is doesn’t have the ability to scroll up and down. Which I find to be a Hugh inconvenient. Plus the right and left buttons are not easy at the touch. I have to press down rather hard on the buttons. Second, I find that the computer runs a rather slowly. Especially for being brand new. Other then that the monitor picture deplay is beautiful. But on the account of the mouse pad I’m going to return the laptop today.

  • is there a start up disc or recovery disc were you can rebbot it from start in box?
