Acer Aspire 5742G has been announced for a while, you know what? It's said that this laptop will feature new NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M graphics with 1GB memory. The laptop sports a 2.26 Hz Intel Core i5-430M processor, 8GB of DDR3 memory, and 500GB HDD hard drive. It also has a 15.6-inch HD LED display at 1366 x 768 resolution, built-in camera, DVD Writer, WiFi connectivity, Bluetooth, and 6-cell battery. Windows 7 Home Premium will be the default OS of this laptop.
The Optimus lets the thing run cool and long (up to 5 hours of life on a charge).
The price of this Acer laptop would be €700, about $920, not very expensive.
