This is a modest laptop from Toshiba at a modest price. For typical office usage, this performs well. I use it as a dedicated office solution, for email, browsing, Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, Quickbooks and similar programs, this is a fine option. The Celeron line of processors are slower, use less power and cost less. We have much more costly and powerful computers but for these tasks, the Toshiba Satellite appears no different. The 15.6” screen display looks sharp and bright. It comes with Windows 10, a DVD drive and 90 days of free support.

If you need speed and power for video editing or gaming, this is not for you. The keyboard is really good, it’s comfortable to type on, The laptop itself is quite light, weighing only 4.85 pounds. The battery life is good, it went a full day on a single charge with moderate use and I was watching training videos over wi-fi, so the battery life was a little better than I expected. Wi-fi just worked fine, connecting as needed, but seemed to be a little weak and didn’t get as strong of a signal in some places.
